Stepping into Your Destiny

My reason for setting up this blog is to stir up the hearts of those who have made it into God's Kingdom through the blood of Jesus to step beyond the door, into the place of their true citizenship. We need to encourage each other.

Even though we are no longer of this world we still have to live in it. God's Word says that we have already overcome it but so many of us are not living as if we have. Many are still in bondage of one form or another which keeps them stuck at the gate.

Once we take hold of the truth of the gospel, the good news of the Kingdom, we can then not only draw more people to enter in but also lead them into that wonderful freedom and power to overcome the world. It's evident that the world is a very dark and scary place at times. That is nothing new. There are so many believers that still get overtaken by the world and the solution is not to bury our heads in the sand and pretend the darkness isn't there, the solution is to press on toward the mark, picking each other up now and then, gathering new family members as we go forward.

We have a formitable enemy who is out to steal, kill and destroy but as members of God's kingdom, right now, we have all that we need to move forward victoriously -

"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. "- Luke 10:19

However, we need to know how to use the authority (power) we have been given. As believers we know that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life yet many if not most, don't live their lives as if they grasp what that means. Jesus preached the Kingdom while he was here on earth. He is the King of that Kingdom and He wants us to live our lives as citizens of His Kingdom, which means enjoying the advantages right now!

Let's start focusing on the WHOLE gospel!
